Placid Lake

The Placid Lake property, an all-log home in need of updates, had parameters that at first glance were constricting, but ultimately, through ongoing conversation with the homeowners, fueled an evolution of iterations, culminating in clever storage solutions and a cohesive design. We worked with the lovely clients to stay true to the home’s natural beauty and integrity, while bringing a fresh color palette and modern features. Timeless materials, including natural stone (granite on the island and quartzite on the perimeter, hutch, living room, and vanity cabinets), antique brass, quarter sawn white oak, and a paint color with just enough depth to keep it interesting, easily transcend trends. See our ‘Features’ tab for more Placid Lake details.

Greenfield

The Greenfield project testifies to the potential of bringing old soul to a fresh new build. The homeowners happen to be Liz’s sister’s family, and we worked very closely with them in order to personalize aesthetic and function. With cabinetry design and color, mixing metals and finishes, this home is inviting and sparks imagination. It’s one of our favorite places to be!
